At Viscaria, our employees are our most important resource, and it is our highest priority to offer everyone a safe, pleasant, and developmental workplace. A good working environment not only means minimising the risk of ill health and injuries but also ensuring that our employees thrive and have the opportunity to develop. A good physical and psychosocial working environment contributes to happier employees and also increases our efficiency and profitability. Viscaria’s ambition is to be an attractive employer where employees are free from work-related ill health, have a good work-life balance, and feel secure and proud when they go to work. Viscaria strives to create a culture where all employees feel motivated, and where no issue is too big or too small to raise. It is through discussion and openness that both personal and professional development occur.

Workplace safety

Viscaria engages in proactive workplace safety efforts with a zero-accident vision regarding injuries and work-related illnesses. Current legislation forms the foundation of our work, but our goal is to exceed external requirements and to always apply the principle of continuous improvement within the organisation. A strong safety culture underpins everything we do and is something we create together in the workplace. Coordinating and driving occupational health and safety efforts in daily operations is the responsibility of the manager, but every employee has a personal responsibility to contribute to a good working environment and to work safely. Upon hiring, employees are introduced to Viscaria’s code of conduct and receive safety training relevant to their position within the organisation.
